Clinical features

Shallow impressions on the margins of the tongue due to to the neighbouring teeth.

Incidence

Common.

Aetiology

Frequent in macroglossia, bruxism and in persons who are chronically anxious or have the habit of pressing the tongue hard against the teeth.

Diagnosis

History and clinical features.

Differentiate from causes of macroglossia.

Management

Reassurance.Crenated Tongue
