Crenated Tongue
Clinical features
– Shallow impressions on the margins of the tongue due to to the neighbouring teeth.
Incidence
– Common.
Aetiology
– Frequent in macroglossia, bruxism and in persons who are chronically anxious or have the habit of pressing the tongue hard against the teeth.
Diagnosis
– History and clinical features.
– Differentiate from causes of macroglossia.
Management
